After finally finishing the book “a walk in the woods” I’ve noticed that from a feminist point of view, there really is not a strong feminine presence throughout the book. Most, if not all of the women in the novel are very minor characters that reflect Bill Bryson’s and Stephen Katz’ attitude toward women.
